Proposition D: Prescription Drug Purchasing

A non-binding statement of intent, directing the city to negotiate with prescription drug manufacturers to reduce costs when it purchases medication, particularly for HIV/AIDS. Does not directly change city laws or practices.

This was put on the ballot by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, and is not opposed.
