Join SFYD for our December "Democrats Work" effort. We'll be staffing Under One Roof's "Home for the Holidays" store, located at 2278 Market Street (cross street Noe). We're selling items, stocking shelves, and generally providing customer service, and 100% of the proceeds from the sales of items in the store go to benefit 17 different nonprofit organizations providing education and support around HIV and AIDS. So, it's a good cause and a great time!

It's this Saturday, December 15, from 2:00PM to 6:00PM. We'll also be joined by Fernando and Greg from Energy 92.7 FM! So come on down!

To get the new year started, we've got several members of our local elected Democratic County Central Committee (DCCC) who will be coming to share with us the latest activities of the DCCC and work with SFYD to get us more involved in the local party. This is a great opportunity to meet activists in the Democratic Party here in San Francisco. Confirmed speakers include DCCC Chair Scott Wiener, Rafael Mandelman, Mary Jung, and Melanie Nutter.

Come check it out! After the meeting is done, we'll head out to get drinks and catch up on all our respective New Year's activities.
