  • David Campos, Supervisor, District Nine, City and County of San Francisco: 

A native of Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, Supervisor Campos came to the U.S. with his family when he was 14. Campos attended Stanford University and Harvard Law School, and has served as Deputy City Attorney for the City and County of San Francisco. Campos has held his seat on the Board of Supervisors since 2008 and is a leading voice on immigration matters within City Hall.

  • David Bacon: Writer/Photojournalist: 
His photos and stories speak about the migration of millions of people being as a global fact of life, while the media and political leaders in the United States and other wealthy countries ignore the economic realities that cause it. He is the author of The Children of NAFTA, Communities Without Borders, and Illegal People: How Globalization Creates Migration and Criminalizes Immigrants.
