Unions: Organizing for Progress

  • 3543 18th Street San Francisco, CA, 94110 United States (map)

Join the San Francisco Young Democrats, Alice B. Toklas LGBT Democratic Club, and the San Francisco Labor Council Thursday, March 28 as we explore the world of unions with local labor leaders. We’ll dive into how unions affect our day-to-day lives and touch on what unions are doing to fight workplace discrimination, LBGT struggles, and how we can become more involved. And be sure to join us afterward for an informal meet and greet from 8-9pm at the 500 Club!

Confirmed Panelists:  Alysabeth Alexander Tut from IFPTE Local 21, Keith Baraka, labor leader with the SF Fire Department, Jane Martin USWW member and long time labor leader, and Kim Tavaglione with the SF Labor Council!

Please note: this educational event is open to the public and not limited to SFYD or Alice B. Toklas members. If you are not yet a member, and would like to be, you can join the clubs here:
