Want to learn more about local government and how to get involved without running for office? There are dozens of vacancies on SF commissions and taskforces - local advisory bodies that help shape city policy - and we need more young people to fill these spots!

Hear from successful applicants who have become commissioners or task force members. The workshop will cover: 
- what is a commission or task force
- the process of applying to city commissions and task forces
- the different paths to be selected as a commissioner
- current vacancies for commissions and task forces
