Let's Talk About the Census

Join the San Francisco Young Democrats in a conversation on the 2020 Census. This discussion will feature panelists with a broad array of experience working within the community to ensure an accurate census count. Our panelists will offer context on why the census is so important, recent attempts to skew the count, and how we can make sure every community is represented fairly. They will also be discussing how COVID-19 has impacted the census, and which San Francisco neighborhoods are hit the hardest by it.

We’ll also have a live Q&A with our panelists:

D10 Supervisor Shamann Walton

Adrienne Pon, Executive Director of the Office of Civic Engagement and Immigrant Affairs

Sarah Souza, Economic Justice & Immigration Rights Advocate

Aminah Luqman, United Way Bay Area
